Is Coaching Right for You?
My clients come to be with a variety of challenges that typically fall under one or more of the categories below.
Most of us go through our ups-and-downs. But some of us stay down for too long. And when you're down, you need to change something, whether it be something around you, or something in you. Perhaps you are having a hard time letting go of your past. Perhaps you are being too hard on yourself. Perhaps you're making decisions based on fear. Coaching can help you figure out why you are unhappy, what changes need to be made, and guide you through the process of actually making the changes.
You're Unable to Make A Big Decision
Should I leave my job? Should I marry this person? Should I move to a different city? When faced with a big decision, coaching can be hugely beneficial. It can help you find clarity when part of you is saying "Don't do it!" and the other part is saying "Go for it!" Good coaches know the right questions to ask, and when to ask them.
You're Lost or Lack passion
Maybe you like your job, but you don't love it. Or, maybe you're happy with your current partner, but not sure you want to commit for the long haul. Maybe parenting isn't all it was cracked up to be, and you're feeling what many parents feel: guilty. Maybe you really want to change careers, but don't know what to do, or how to do it. Maybe you stopped taking care of yourself and are ready to change bad habits. Coaching can help you align (or re-align) your priorities so you can start moving in the right direction.
You Just Ended a Relationship
You may be devastated, or you may be just fine with it. But when any relationship ends, we all go through a period of getting back in touch with who we really are, what we really enjoy doing, and what we really want. Coaching will help you through the rediscovery process so that you can start that new, exciting chapter in your life.
